Caring for you during Covid-19
We hope you and your families are keeping safe and well during this difficult time.
**Please do not come to the Practice unless you have been advised to attend **
Carleton Dental Practice is open and safe.
Carleton Dental Practice will remain open in these unprecedented times.
Appointments are available for emergency treatment. Routine appointments are currently limited as we are experiencing an unusually high level of patients in pain.
These patients have to receive priority care over routine appointments. Please be patient as due to COVID- 19 restrictions we only have half the number of appointments available that we had pre-pandemic.
Telephone us on 028 3839 1700 / 028 3833 4672 to speak to our reception team.
The out of hours clinic at Craigavon Area Hospital is closed.
Advice on attending our Practice
If you have been advised by one of our Dentists to attend the Practice, we have some extra measures that we would like you to follow before coming to your appointment:
- Please inform the Dentist if you feel unwell (temperature/cough/shortness of breath)
- Use your toilet at home before appointment
- Wash your hands thoroughly before leaving your home
- Arrive on time for your appointment. Telephone our reception on 02838 391700/02838 334672 to let us know that you are outside. There are no waiting facilities inside. If you are in a car, remain there until a member of staff comes outside to bring you in for your appointment. If you are on foot, please remain socially distanced outside until you are met by a member of staff.
- Please leave all unnecessary personal belongings in your car
- Come alone unless you are a child under 16 years or if you need support from 1 other person
- We have a one-way system in operation to reduce patient contact. On entering the Practice, you will be asked some Covid screening questions and your temperature will be checked.
- Use the hand sanitiser provided to you by staff
- Only contactless card payments please
We know that the Corona Virus is causing great uncertainty and concern for our patients and staff. We want to reassure everyone that we are doing all we can to remain well and able to work, so that we can continue to provide our Patients with the highest standard of dental care.
